This painting is part of a second wave of color and geometry explorations that I started in Asheville, the first in Raleigh. The colors and shapes of nature here are unique to this spot in Western NC and so is the energy in this painting. Resulting from relocation and working frenetically in between days and cities and calendars to capture some essence of life.

I chose this one because it reminds me of Jeremy's energetic output of music, visual art and performance and a spirit of creation that was alive in Bloomington when and where I met him.
